The hotel was very clean and extremely well organised. The staff were helpful and courteous and very obliging. The breakfast was varied and relaxed. The location was excellent - central but quiet. I could not fault the hotel at all and would certainly return there and recommend it to others.

Modigliani had a welcoming and helpful staff. The location is good w/the Metro close by even though we used cabs mostly. Many good restaurants w/i walking distance. Could catch the on/off bus for sightseeing a couple blocks away. A beautiful inner garden for relaxing, but best of all, where they would serve you breakfast which was included. I was bitten by tiger mosquitoes and a spider which left me itching most of my stay. I would recommend taking insect repellent and using it if you sit in the garden at night.

The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, the rooms were small but clean and comfortable, bed was good. Close to great restaurants we walked to all sights and great shopping. Pick up to and from airport was excellent. Would recommend anytime.

The room was tiny and the doorknob was tricky; we got locked in our room once and staff treated it as if it was "no problem." The room was also very dark and the only mirror in the room was far away from the light. The shower was coffin-sized and that made it very difficult to wash. There is no soundproofing, so it is hard to sleep before 12am (because of the other guests) and after 6am (because of the staff). The breakfast was very limited and only a small portion of it was ready when the service opened.

Good location to shops and tourist attractions. Clean and good value for central Rome in the summer

It would be better if they recommended good local places to eat rather than their friend around the corner that only had ppl from the hotel eating there

Hotel chosen for its character and courtyard garden which did not disappoint. Common areas inside and out are attractive and friendly. Rooms small with small shower cabinet but all works well. Would return as location and staff terrific with good local restaurants.

Fantastic staff, beautiful shared areas, quaint (though small) room.

We stayed at the Modigliani for 4 nights. Had a fantastic time in Rome and this hotel was awesome. I could not fault anything about it and would be happy to stay there again. I can recommend to all you will not be disappointed.

Excellent value for money in downtown Rome

The staff at Hotel Modigliani were very helpful with a smile always. The Hotel was very clean and so well positioned in Rome. We loved our stay and would definitely come back.

The hotel is in a nice location and quiet. We had a room with a balcony which was nice. The bed is really comfortable and rather wide.The breakfast is simple but good. The staff is helpful.

The rooms are really small. I had difficulty with fitting in the shower cabin and I am not obese! Unfortunately the cover of the bed was smelling of sweat when we first went there (also one pillow), but it was changed after we asked for it to be changed.

The kind and friendly staff for whom nothing was too much trouble.A five-star service.

We loved our stay! It was perfect for walking Rome & seeing the sights. Great staff who helped us make several reservations for sightseeing & meals. Great breakfeast. I would definitely stay again.

The room was really clean, the location is really good and it is a good value for money.The newsletter provided by the owners is also very interesting (tips on restaurants etc.)

We had a very bad end because of one of the staff at Modigliani Hotel. Laura and the staff at the breakfast were absolutely lovely but one of the man at the reception has been very dishonest and gave us a very bad last impression of Rome. In fact, we chose to take the normal taxi to the airport instead of the private service provided by the hotel for cost reason. However, we had the feeling that the man at the reception that knew the taxi driver told him to make sure it would pay us more (no traffic jam no problem on the road but we paid 10eur extra!). Anyway, we will come back to Rome with our parents but we will make sure we do not go to this hotel but another one in the neighbourhoods.We are very disappointed of this week end that could have been perfect.

This is our 5th time to this Hotel. Absolutely love, love this hotel. Staff very friendly and efficient.
